Francois Doran
Team Principal EDX (East COAST)

Francois Doran is the Team Principal for EDX East Coast, bringing a career built on competitive performance, disciplined operations, and long-term team development. He began his motorsports journey as a driver before transitioning into team ownership, an evolution that shaped his leadership style around results, preparation, and building winning programs.
​
Over more than two decades, Francois owned and operated a highly successful kart racing team in Southern California, USA. Under his direction, the program grew beyond karting and expanded into a race-winning open-wheel operation, competing in both F4 and F3.
​
Now based in Montreal, Canada, Francois recently merged his company, Doran Motorsports Group, with West Coast-based Scuderia Estoras to form EDX - Estoras Doran Driving eXcellence. He’s energized to lead the East Coast contingent, focused on elevating performance standards, strengthening team infrastructure, and delivering consistent results across every event.
Marco Kacic
Director of Operations & Head Coach

Marco Kacic serves as EDX’s Director of Operations and Head Coach, combining elite-level racing experience with proven leadership in building high-performance teams. A professional race car driver, Marco has been behind the wheel since the age of five, transitioned into car racing in his early teens, and has competed successfully across F1600, F4, F3, and LMP3.
​
His career highlights include an F4 championship and several F3 and LMP3 podium finishes, results that reflect both speed and racecraft at the highest levels of competition. Over the past two years, Marco also served as General Manager and Team Principal of Scuderia Estoras, with a focus on scaling the company, strengthening operations, and elevating performance standards.
​
Alongside racing and leadership, Marco has developed a passion for coaching, working with drivers in both karting and formula cars. Following the successful merger with Doran Motorsports Group, Marco will lead operations at EDX’s newest location at Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit in British Columbia, Canada.
Mike Peltier
Team Principal, EDX (West coast)

Mike Peltier steps into a new leadership role this season as Team Principal for EDX West Coast, following a standout year as Head Technician for Scuderia Estoras. Known for his high energy and strategic mindset, Mike has a rare ability to align vision with execution; turning preparation, process, and people into results on track.
Mike also has deep roots in karting, including representing Canada at the ROK Cup World Finals in Lonato, Italy at the peak of his competitive career. That racer’s perspective continues to shape his approach today: performance-first, detail-driven, and relentlessly focused on what it takes to win.
As a mentor and leader, Mike builds highly engaged teams that operate with a single objective, winning races, while maintaining the standards that define a world-class program. He’s widely respected for his integrity, the trust he earns from drivers and families, and his unwavering commitment to customer service excellence.
