Kart Technician & Driver Coach

Kyle Francis is a hands-on kart technician and performance-focused driver coach known for blending mechanical precision with data-driven coaching. With over a decade of competitive karting experience, Kyle has raced across Canada, the USA, and Europe—primarily in high-performance Shifter and Rotax classes—giving him a deep, practical understanding of what it takes to build speed and consistency in real race conditions.

As a mechanic, Kyle brings a meticulous approach to kart setup, reliability, and trackside troubleshooting. He can translate driver feedback into actionable changes that improve balance, grip, and drivability. As a coach, he’s equally analytical: using data and structured feedback to help drivers refine braking, corner approach, throttle application, and racecraft.

Whether he’s dialing in a kart in the paddock or coaching a driver session-by-session, Kyle’s focus is the same: measurable performance gains, smarter decision-making, and confidence behind the wheel.

Tyson Huber
Kart Technician

Tyson Huber is a young, enthusiastic kart technician with extensive mechanical knowledge and a strong reputation for reliability in the paddock. Now heading into his third year on staff with the team, Tyson has become a trusted part of day-to-day operations, supporting kart prep, setup changes, and trackside troubleshooting with a calm, solutions-first mindset.

Known for his attention to detail and willingness to jump in wherever needed, Tyson helps ensure every kart is race-ready, consistent, and performing at its best so drivers can stay focused on results.

Danny Kacic
Kart Technician & Driver Coach

Danny Kacic brings over three decades of karting experience to the team as a kart technician and driver coach, combining extensive technical expertise with proven leadership in high-performance racing environments. He began his career as a driver, transitioned into coaching, and later became a team owner, building and operating a successful karting program for more than a decade before selling the company.
​
Danny specializes in chassis setup and engine tuning, with a practical, results-focused approach to extracting performance and improving consistency. Along with trackside coaching and technical support, he also assists in team operations helping ensure preparation, execution, and decision-making stay aligned with performance goals.

Dan Monteiro
Technician & Transport Driver

Dan Monteiro is a valuable asset to the team, serving as both a technician and the primary transport driver responsible for moving team equipment safely and efficiently to each event location. His reliability behind the wheel and attention to detail in logistics help ensure the team arrives prepared, organized, and ready to perform.
​
When on-site, Dan splits his time between supporting select events as a mechanic and competing himself when schedules allow. As a driver in the highly competitive Shifter class, he brings a racer’s perspective to the paddock, adding practical insight and intensity to the team’s trackside execution.

Davor Kacic
Technician

Don’t let Davor Kacic’s youthful appearance fool you, he brings over 30 years of motorsports experience to the team as a technician. Davor started out as a driver in both karts and cars, building a racer’s understanding of performance before transitioning into the technical side of the sport. He then spent more than two decades as an automotive mechanic, developing the diagnostic discipline and precision that now define his work at the track.

Davor supports the team part-time, attending select events as a technician while working full-time as an automotive technician instructor at Okanagan College. He specializes in engine diagnostics and is known for meticulous attention to detail, helping ensure karts are running clean, consistent, and race-ready.
