EDX Racing Team — Test & Tune + Coaching Weekend Recap

This past weekend we were back at the track for another Test & Tune weekend, combining quality seat time with focused coaching to make sure our drivers are sharpening every detail ahead of the upcoming race stretch.
From the start, the objective was simple: find the extra time. Not by chasing miracles — but by tightening fundamentals, improving consistency, and building confidence in changing conditions. With Marco leading the coaching, our team members worked through key technique adjustments, cleaner execution, and smarter decision-making lap after lap.
Changing conditions, strong progress
The weekend gave us a little bit of everything:
Friday: wet and slippery — perfect for learning car control, patience, and precision
Saturday: conditions improved steadily and the pace started to come alive
Sunday & Monday: full sunshine — ideal for pushing, refining lines, and locking in race-ready rhythm
Those mixed conditions are exactly what we want in a development weekend: drivers learn to adapt, stay composed, and keep improving no matter what the track throws at them.
New faces, fast first impressions
We also had new drivers testing with the team, and we’re excited about what we saw. A few of them were immediately quick, and even more importantly, they showed the right attitude — focused, coachable, and hungry to improve. That combination is what builds strong teammates and strong results.
Mission accomplished
Overall, the weekend achieved its goals. Our junior drivers, in particular, made meaningful progress — and that’s what matters most right now. Every lap, every adjustment, every debrief is building toward being fully prepared when it counts.
Thank you to our May sponsor
A big thank you again to our May sponsor: VIMC (Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit) for supporting our program and helping make weekends like this possible. We’re proud to keep developing drivers and building momentum here.
