Sunshine, Shifters and Fresh Faces: EDX Gears Up for the Season Finale
With summer weather stretching into late September, EDX enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the track—testing, welcoming new drivers and getting ready for the final race of the season next weekend.
Patrick and Teagan spent time working on the chassis setups for their new six-speed shifter karts, making the most of the perfect conditions to prepare for next year racing season in shifter class. Teagan also joined Jack for practice in TaG, giving both drivers valuable track time ahead of the season finale.
We were also delighted to welcome Aaron Borg and Sophie Harbidge for tryouts with EDX. Both drivers did really well, and it was a pleasure to have them at the track with us. Introducing new drivers to the team is always a highlight, and we’re already looking forward to having Aaron and Sophie back next year—possibly as EDX team members!
Weekends like this capture what we love about karting: time on track, steady progress, great company and the excitement of what comes next. With beautiful weather and plenty of productive testing, it was an excellent way to prepare for one last race weekend.
Now the focus turns to putting that preparation into practice and finishing the season strong.
Let’s go, team—one more race weekend to give it our all!
