Looking for weekly kart racing throughout the summer? Check out our Junior Academy, designed for ages 10 to 65 and built for the next generation of racing superstars. If you or your child loves the excitement of Formula 1 and IndyCar and want to try karting for the first time, this academy is the perfect place to start. Our program teaches beginner and intermediate drivers the fundamentals of karting, including race craft, passing techniques, mental preparation, and on-track confidence all while keeping the experience fun, safe, and exciting.

Event Agenda:
Week 1 focuses on building a strong foundation for every driver. Students will learn the basic driving fundamentals needed to feel confident and in control behind the wheel, including proper seating position, steering control, throttle and brake application, and smooth kart handling. Drivers will also be introduced to the racing line, helping them understand how to approach corners, hit apexes, and carry speed safely through the track. A major focus of the first week will be understanding safety measures both on and off the track, including track rules, flag meanings, pit lane awareness, spacing between karts, and how to respect other drivers while racing. This week is designed to help beginner and intermediate drivers build confidence, understand the kart, and prepare for more advanced racing skills in the weeks ahead.
In Week 2, drivers will begin learning the key skills needed to race competitively and safely. The focus will shift toward race craft, including how to follow other drivers, choose smart passing opportunities, defend position, and understand when to be patient on track. Students will practice passing techniques in a controlled environment, learning how to make safe and respectful overtakes while maintaining speed and control. Drivers will also be introduced to race starts, including grid positioning, reaction time, and how to handle the first few corners of a race. The day will finish with each driver taking part in their first race-style session, giving them a chance to apply what they have learned in a fun and exciting environment.
Week 3 brings everything together and gives each driver the opportunity to show their progress. Coaches will work with each student individually, giving them their own personalized agenda based on the skills they need to improve, whether that is braking, cornering, passing, race starts, consistency, or overall confidence. Drivers will continue to develop their race craft and put all of their training into practice in a structured race-day format. The academy will finish with a full racing experience, including qualifying, a pre-final, and a final race. Parents are welcome to attend and watch the final races as drivers compete and celebrate everything they have learned. The day will end with podiums, awards, and recognition for the hard work, improvement, and sportsmanship shown throughout the academy.

A Few Things to Note About the Event
Our Junior Academy will be led by pro-level driving coaches who will guide drivers through both classroom learning and on-track karting sessions. The program is designed to give each driver a complete experience, combining instruction, practice, feedback, and plenty of time behind the wheel.
Karts, safety gear, snacks, and other necessary event items are all included. Drivers only need to arrive ready to learn, have fun, and improve their skills. Please make sure each participant brings closed-toe shoes and wears something comfortable and suitable underneath their racing suit.

Pricing:
For Group A or B the pricing is the same at $499/week for the 3 weeks how ever if you would like to do both its $749/week to do group A and B.

​New Member Scholarship Program:
For drivers who we feel strongly excel during the program, scholarships ranging from $499 up to $2,999 may be awarded toward joining our 2027 racing team or purchasing their own kart and joining the EDX Racing program.
