EDX Merger – For Immediate Press Release

Scuderia Estoras (www.scuderiaestoras.com)  has officially merged with Doran Motorsports Group (https://www.doranmotorsports.com), forming a new coast-to-coast racing and driver development organization called Estoras Driving eXcellence Group (EDX)(www.edxracing.com).

Built on a shared commitment to excellence, safety, and measurable performance improvement, EDX will continue to expand the work of promoting motorsports to youth and racers who want to develop their skills in a professional environment. The new organization combines decades of coaching, race operations, and technical expertise into a single, unified program designed to support drivers from karting through to car competition.


Leadership

  • Marco Kacic will serve as Managing Director of Operations & Head Coach, focusing on driver development programs during race weekends as well as the F4 program, while overseeing broader management and operations outside of race events. Marco will be also responsible for our car events at VIMC on Vancouver Island.

  • Meanwhile, Mike Peltier will take on the role of Team Principal EDX, specifically for the operations at Greg More Raceway, handling all team karting operations; as well as ensuring smooth coordination of the company activities as Operations Manager.


Major Sponsorships with Leading Performance Brands

EDX is also proud to announce the signing of key sponsorship agreements with premier automotive and motorsports-aligned brands, including:

Three Permanent Bases Across Canada

With the merger and new sponsorships, EDX will now operate from three permanent bases, enabling true coast-to-coast service:


Operating from three permanent locations allows EDX to better support drivers and families across Canada with consistent programming, equipment standards, and professional team infrastructure.


EDX Named Ligier Ambassador of Canada

EDX is also proud to announce that is now a Brand Ambassador for Ligier Automotive.  EDX will have access to the full line of Ligier race cars and will be focusing on promoting the successful racing brand and selling the cars throughout Canada. Prospective customers will have the ability to test F4 cars through EDX on one of our tracks on East or West Coast.


Expanded F4 Program: Four Ligier Formula Cars for 2026 and Beyond

EDX will operate four Ligier Formula 4 (F4) cars in 2026 and beyond:

  • Two cars based in Canada (one on each coast)

  • Two cars racing full-time in the JS F4 Championships, professionally managed by Allen Berg Racing

This expansion strengthens EDX’s ability to deliver a true “karting-to-F4” pathway, giving drivers access to higher-performance platforms with the same coaching philosophy and technical support.


Karting & Engine Partnerships for 2026

EDX will also expand its karting and technical offerings through new and returning partnerships:

  • OTK chassis partnership: EDX is also now an exclusive west coast dealer of the Carlos Sainz Brand (CS55) within the OTK lineup https://www.cs55racingkart.com, while continuing its exclusive Canadian partnership with CompKart https://compkart.co and the Karting Solutions Group in USA, which now includes Factory Karts 2.0 https://www.factorykarts.com/.

  • Engines:

    • BBR Superpower Rotax dyno-tuned engines are returning for 2026

    • RARE engines for Briggs & Stratton are returning for 2026

    • New partnership for LO206 dyno-tuned race engines with Quantum Racing Engines, new for 2026 season
