EDX arrived at BC Karting Championships Round 1, held May 1–3, 2026, with a busy team roster spread across LO206 Masters, LO206 Senior, LO206 Junior 2, TaG Junior, and TaG Senior. Across the weekend, Patrick Kleine, Teagan Kleine, Laina Zablotny, Devon Radosevic, Andrew Bench, and Cash Coogan all took on competitive fields, with several drivers doubling up across categories and managing a packed schedule of qualifying, heats, and finals.
The weekend brought a bit of everything: tight qualifying margins, steady forward progress, penalty recoveries, tough finals, and some very strong race pace from the EDX racing team. It was the kind of opening round that gives the team plenty to build on — and a very clear read on where the pace is already showing.
Patrick Kleine — LO206 Masters
Patrick Kleine put together solid weekend in LO206 Masters, turning a good qualifying effort into a strong final result. Patrick qualified 7th out of 15, posting a best lap of 1:02.390, just 0.001 seconds behind Matt Macleod in sixth and only 0.016 seconds behind Gary Smith in fifth. In a class where the midfield was separated by almost nothing, Patrick was immediately in the fight.
His best pace came alive in the heats. In Heat 1, Patrick finished 6th, dropping his best lap to 1:01.550 and showing a major improvement from qualifying. Heat 2 was more difficult on paper, as Patrick was classified 11th after a 5 second penalty for gain of position by pushing, but his best lap of 1:01.667 showed the pace was still there. He followed that with 8th in Heat 3, again staying in the upper half of a very competitive Masters field.
Patrick saved a strong result for Sunday, finishing the LO206 Masters Final in 6th place after completing all 17 laps. His best lap in the final was 1:01.989, and he finished ahead of several drivers who had been directly around him throughout the heats. It was a composed, credible Round 1 result and a strong foundation for the championship.

The LO206 Junior 2 Final capped off a strong weekend. Teagan finished 5th, completing all 17 laps and setting a best lap of 1:00.798. That gave him a top-five result in a competitive final and one of the stronger EDX finishes of the weekend.

He finished 7th in Heat 1, though a 5 second bumper penalty was applied, then finished 8th in Heat 2 after completing 10 laps. He sat out Heat 3, and the Final ended after one lap after a racing incident, with Teagan classified 12th.

Devon Radosevic — TaG Senior
Devon Radosevic was one of the standout EDX performers for pure pace in TaG Senior. He qualified 5th with a best lap of 51.692, putting himself right in the lead group in one of the weekend’s most competitive categories.
Devon backed that up immediately in the heats. He finished 5th in Heat 1, then improved to 4th in Heat 2, where he posted a best lap of 52.128. In Heat 3, he finished 6th, keeping himself firmly among the top-running group heading into Sunday.
Unfortunately, the Final did not reflect the quality of Devon’s weekend. He had early lap 1 incident which ended his racing weekend. Even with that disappointment, Devon’s Saturday pace was a major positive: qualifying fifth and running fourth, fifth, and sixth in the heats showed he had the speed to compete near the front of TaG Senior.
